Youth Camp FAQs

Q: I will have several youth attending and/or I have one youth who will be attending two camps/events. How do I register them?

A: A separate form for each youth and event is required.

Q: Who do I contact for special dietary/medical needs?
A: Send a list of dietary/medical needs to the camp/event director.

Q: I am interested in volunteering to work at a youth camp or event. How do I get involved?

Please Note: All volunteers and staff are required to go through the Community of Christ youth worker registration process. You can find  the application in the menu column to the left.

Q: Due to my financial situation, I cannot afford to pay for my youth to attend. Is there financial assistance available?
A: No youth will be turned away from an event if they lack funding. Contact the camp/event director for more information.

Q: What if I register and pay the registration fee but my youth is unable to attend the event?
A: In the event a pre-registered youth is unable to attend an event/camp, the full amount of the registration fee can be refunded. Contact the event/camp director for more information.

What to bring to a youth retreat/camp?
*Bedding (pillow, sleeping bag or sheets, and blanket)
*Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush/paste, etc.)
*Towel/washcloth
*Clothing (plan for warm & cool weather, rain gear, shoes, swim suit)
*Jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt
*Grubby clothes for getting dirty, painting, etc.
*Laundry bag
*Campfire blanket (One that can get dirty while sitting on ground)
*Scriptures and books to read
*Flashlight
*Bug spray
*Sports equipment (Clearly labeled with name)
*Musical instrument and sheet music
*Camera
