WORLD CONFERENCE 2025-DO YOU WANT TO BE A DELEGATE?

A vote to approve the mission center’s World Conference delegates will take place during the November 24th Mission Center Conference to be held at Camp Nauvoo, Nauvoo, IL.

REQUEST FROM CEDAR RAPIDS CONGREGATION:
Greetings, brothers and sisters! We are calling upon you to gather winter gear which would include coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, warm socks, and winter boots for all ages. We are partnering with the Ecumenical Community Center of Cedar Rapids to provide this for the folks that come to them in need.

Donations can be brought to the Cedar Rapids congregation, as we are functioning as a collection center. I am working with the ECC who will be the distribution center. Robin is our contact person. You can call me with any questions. We have a special room designated at the Cedar Rapids congregation to place the gear. We will periodically deliver loads of it to the ECC as their supplies diminish.

Please consider going through your closets and drawers and getting rid of warm winter gear that someone else could benefit from. You can also go to Goodwill or buy low cost winter gear to donate. Thank you so much for your care and concern and your willingness to help us with this project.  This project will be continuing through February.
